Under general supervision, technicians perform a wide variety of skilled maintenance, installation, repair and servicing of CCTV, Burglar Alarm, Access Control, computer networking, and telephones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Install CCTV systems, burglar alarm, and Access Controls

Perform preventative and regular maintenance

Troubleshoot and repair equipment

Design and install low voltage wiring systems

Operate central monitoring station equipment

Perform administrative office duties

Oversee sub-contractors and other employees

Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor

Responds to emergency situations as necessary

May assist in training or instructing others

Other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

3+ years Installation & troubleshooting experience with CCTV & Burglar Alarm

Previous experience with alarm systems mandatory

Valid Driver's License

Understanding of equipment and safety regulations pertaining to the work performed

Knowledge of electronic equipment

Working knowledge of the National Electric Code

Programming abilities with : Ademco, DSC, Napco, GE, Visonic.

Basic Knowledge of networking, TCP/IP protocol.

Able to keep detailed records and produce as-built drawings of installed equipment.

Knowledge and programming of various DVR/NVR types

Electrical systems

Usage of 2-way radio

Identify and implement effective courses of action to complete assigned work.

Read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics

Exercise independent judgment and initiative within established guidelines.

Apply concepts of basic electricity.

Apply concepts of basic electronics component theory and alarm systems operations.

Able to excessively travel, occasionally with little notice.

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those encountered in the course of work.

Coordinate work assignments with other sections and/or departments.

Compliance with Company's Policies and Procedures

BICSI I or II certification preferred but not required

Ability to work with limited supervision

Must be able to read, write, and speak English

Must be able to pass drug test and background check

Must be able to provide Motor Vehicle Record at time of job offer (current within 15 days)

Major functions include information security monitoring of regulated and core systems within the MGM Resorts environment. * Performs Tier 1 day-to-day security log review and analysis in adherence with MICS, SOX, and PCI requirements. The log reviews includes the following systems: * Operating System (i.e. Windows, Unix, OS/400) * Database (MS SQL, Oracle, DB2) * Applications (COT and In-House Developed) * Network (Firewalls, Switches, Routers, Wireless) * Security Applications (IDS/IPS, FIM, AV, Vulnerability Scanners) * Responsible for reporting, escalating, and remediating anomalous events based on the established protocol. * Provides meaningful information security metrics, which include identifying historical trends, areas of risks/gaps, violations and/or improvements. * Works with Tier 2 support to tune and maintain the SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) as needed. * Performs other work related duties as assigned and/or required. Required: * Bachelor's degree in Information Systems. Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field; or equivalent education and work experience. * At least 5 years of experience in information security. * Prior experience of security log review. * Excellent customer service skills. * Have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts. * Professional appearance and demeanor. * Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays. * High school diploma or equivalent. * Able to effectively communicate in English, in both written and oral forms. Preferred: * CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, CGEIT and/or QSA. * Certification in electronic investigations and/or forensics. * Previous experience working in a similar resort setting.
