Under general supervision, but following established policies and procedures, as well as all applicable banking laws and regulations, including BSA and AML, is responsible for the routine maintenance of all security equipment: Plan, develop, implement and maintain all security equipment, run wires, configure and maintain equipment, monitor the systems for efficiency, and troubleshoot as necessary.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1.Provide wiring/cabling of security equipment for new installations, moves, changes, and troubleshooting problems at all branch and subsidiary locations. May require training users on use, procedures, and/or new security systems. (20% - E)
2.Maintain, repair, and replace security systems for all branches and users. Arrange for repair by third parities as necessary, assist with the maintenance of warranty information on equipment, and use blueprints in order to assist with repairs, troubleshooting, or to report temporary repairs. (20% - E)
3.Responsible for providing ongoing assistance to branches and subsidiaries by phone and/or in person to address technical problems. (20% - E)
4.Assists with phob assignments and maintaining the phob database. (15% - E)
5.Assists with taking and troubleshooting ATM dispatch calls. (20% - E)
6.All other special projects, reports and duties as assigned. (5% - M)
Must possess the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively perform the essential functions of this position. Must have the ability to work and communicate well verbally and written.
Must be highly organized, logical, analytical, self-motivated, creative, and detail oriented. Must have knowledge and be skilled in the proper use of basic hand tools. A high school equivalency and up to 6 months to 1 year of technical trade school or significant relevant work experience is required.
Must possess a valid Class E motor vehicle license, a clean driving record, and have the ability to travel to all Great Southern locations as needed. Must be able to lift and carry weights of 20 to 50 lbs., manipulate and move weights in excess of 50 lbs. with the assistance of dollies, hand trucks, and/or mechanical devices. Must be able to also use a ladder, bend, pull, and push equipment as necessary.
