This position will be a key member of Global Security Programs IP Protection team assisting with supply chain policy, audit, and company compliance, as well as ensuring proper support is provided to internal partners working on confidential projects.
- Support Programming, Commissioning and driving new builds projects to Security Go Live (SGL) and First Day of Business (FDOB). Coordinate with other teams to obtain network and Archibus information. Familiar with Systems, Technologies and platforms that the client uses to build out, program and test new build sites, expansions and relocations.
Communicate internally with technology partners, Project Leads, and externally of the Integrator Field Teams is integral to the success of this role. System Support to the Integrators/LSPs in the field on Security technologies (Access Control, Video Management systems, Intercoms, key management). Intercoms, Key Management to coincide with an aggressive build schedule. Project Management of Integrator/LSP resources in the field coordinating testing and commissioning of projects.
On occasion PC/Mac support on software and hardware for end users via phone or email may be required. Enforce and follow documented installation standards and New Builds processes such as DHCP reservations, MAC White listing, Load Sheets, other new builds documentation, and additional Security specific techniques. Assist in basic network troubleshooting as it relates to Security Systems and Technology.
Comprehensive knowledge of Security Systems and Technology including but not limited to: Software House/CCure supported hardware (iStar panels, REX, Card readers, locks, door contacts, etc.) Commend Intercom Systems Familiar with how Security Systems and Technology hardware interacts with network/IP Familiarity with field troubleshooting techniques for low voltage systems (ground faults, shorts, use of test equipment like Multi meter). Familiarity with basic networking though certifications or able to obtain shortly after onboarding (90 days from start date). Comprehensive knowledge of Windows is a plus as most Security Systems and Technology applications are Windows dependent. Heavy focus on troubleshooting and ability to work through process of elimination is required.
Understand the basic security standards and practices that go into a security design. Work with network administration and hardware technicians. Maintain and patch applications. Collaborate with trusted partners, vendors, other teams and levels of leadership to work system outages.
- 2+ years experience in Security Systems Technology (Intercoms, Key Management, Integrator/LSP resources, etc.). Troubleshooting of security devices. Basic installation understanding of security technology and devices.
Completed Technical Training or equivalent experience from field experience. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. Written and verbal communication skills.
Exceptional professionalism and customer-service skills, motivated by customer satisfaction. Passionate about technology and networking, and ability to learn and develop independently. Agile and exhibits a strong sense of urgency.
Systems: Proficient with Software House CCure 9000, Genetec, and Physical Security Hardware (Access Control Panels, IP Cameras, Sensors, Electric Locks, etc.). This includes physical security systems, security hardware, locks, cameras, and network-based equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook client (Windows, Mac) and Microsoft Office Suite, with experience resolving complex problems and assisting users with advanced functionality. Proficient in the process for Final Test and Acceptance of security systems and hand over.
Task Management and Administration Discipline: Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Math, Engineering, Business and/or 2+ years of work experience in the field. Additional
Ability to Travel up to 25% to remote offices for end user and project support. Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated hands-on experience in mid-large enterprise environment (20+ sites). Network certifications not required but general network knowledge a plus. Program Specific
