Your impact:

  • Supervises, trains, and disciplines security officers in the performance of all security and related tasks for the company, 24/7, and as set forth in the Contingency Operations and S.O.P. manuals. Responsible for providing technical support and handling security issues during non-business hours by phone or in person as necessary.

  • Oversees the security functions, including contracted security services, in East Aurora and New York City; implements security policies and guidelines under the direction of the department head.

  • Responsible for the administration, monitoring, and maintenance of the electronic access control system, CCTV system, and Guard Tour system, including coordinating equipment service as needed with outside contractors.

  • Coordinates the transporting of all bank deposits and checks for various departments daily and as needed during all special events.

  • Responsible for training company employees and employees of on-site day care center in CPR, First Aid, and Blood-borne Pathogens.

  • Key member of Fisher-Price Safety Committee.

  • Oversees the transporting of high-level Fisher-Price/Mattel executives to and from the airport and other destinations as needed. Coordinates the maintenance and use of company vehicles; oversees the completion of driver forms and maintains a log.

  • Supervises the processing of employee ID and passport photos; reviews agency invoices for accuracy; updates security manuals; maintains logs for visitors, packages, keys, and cell phones; tracks and orders supplies.

  • Effectively responds and deals with all emergency situations.

  • Incident investigation during business and non-business hours as needed.

  • Some travel is required.

You have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills required when dealing with the public and all levels within the organization.

  • Knowledge of and experience in working with local, state, and federal authorities, agencies, and inspectors.

  • Certified American Red Cross instructor.

  • Knowledge of Guard Tour system, electronic access control and CCTV systems.

  • Supervisory experience in Industrial or Corporate security.

  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook

Experience, Education & Skills


  • Bachelor's Degree (Criminal Justice or related field)

  • 5-7 years experience in Industrial or Corporate security.

  • Exemplary attendance and job performance.

As a Security Lead in Moog's Aircraft Group you can expect to: The Security lead will play a key role in ensuring a successful ERP transformation (SAP). This person will Implement and support SAP security according to functional requirements. This includes administration and maintenance of security roles, profiles, and configured controls in the SAP environment. The security Lead will have to work with many others in the organization to succeed. Here's what you'll work on: * Ensure that the security and authorization efforts are closely aligned with the Moog IT policies and SAP best practices. * Coordinate all security aspects (authorizations, transports, SOD) with the external ERP system integrator. * Work with the business teams, to define the correct role assignments for users, in alignment with their daily tasks. * Plan and run workshops with the business and consultants to align and embed the security concepts into the business life. That includes the mechanism of "single / local roles" derivation, from "composite / global roles". * Ensure all roles, new and changing ones, are processed properly through the change management process. Ensure roles are transported correctly through the different SAP environments. * Ensure that SoD – (Segregation of Duty rules) are clearly defined. Ensure that SoD(s) where they do exist have signed off mitigations, written against them, by local or global financial controller. * Work with functional teams and consultants to test the roles and manage User acceptance test scenarios. Qualifications: * Strong organizational skills, effective with tactical execution. * Contributes in assuring deliverables are attained in accordance with project plan timeline. * Able to establish and maintain strong relationships, capable of effectively coordinating work activity as a team player.
