The Security Supervisor is responsible for the safety and security of all data center employees and visitors. They will supervise, direct, professionally develop, motivate and assess the G4S Security Team Members assigned to their shift. The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the security personnel in the absence of the Site Security Manager.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
Oversee the staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to his/her shift; organize and disperse shift rotation schedules
Ensure that contract-required training and screening elements for security personnel have been met; complete shift audits
Maintain overtime to a minimal or preset requirement designated by G4S
Ensure quality of service and contract compliance by regularly inspecting security personnel and their job performance when assigned to his/her shift; ensure all vehicle inspections are initiated and completed appropriately by the security officers on duty; complete shift camera audits to insure accuracy, prepare daily reports, and report all discrepancies directly to management; monitoring and maintaining tracking of vehicle activity on his/her assigned shift, initiate uniform inspections to insure that the security team remains in compliance, follow through on team building including patrolling and SOC Operators
Perform other operations and related functions (e.g., payroll, review and maintain incident reports, assist in preparation of security surveys and post orders); ensure accuracy of payroll related documents;
Make recommendations for positive and negative personnel actions for those under his/her direct supervision
Respond to client requests; initiate a positive interaction with the customer, management, supervisors and security team
The Ideal Candidate:
Education, Licenses and Certifications Required
Bachelor's Degree or above in business administration or law enforcement-related fields
Pass any State-required training or other qualifications for licensing
Pass a State licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle
Type and Length of Specific Experience Required
3 years work experience showing aptitude for assisting in the operational management of a large semi-independent business enterprise.
Work history to include each of the following:
Demonstrated experience motivating, leading, and directing a diverse team of security personnel
Experience with organizing and dispersing shift rotation schedules, ensuring accuracy of payroll signage, monitoring Security Operations Center (SOC) duties to ensure sufficiency, completing shift audits, and ensuring all vehicle inspections are initiated and completed appropriately by the security officers on duty
Proven ability to make decisions without management present based upon security operational guidelines
Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills
Active listening skills
Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively
Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately
Attention to detail
Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher
Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
Subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military
Physical Requirements and Environment
Environment: Indoor and outdoor, temperature ranges from moderate to extreme cold and heat
Major activity: Walking, standing, speaking, listening, observing
Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling.
