At Sunrise, our Security team member is responsible for providing security services and ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents, guests and team members.

RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities:
- Promoting and guarding the community property- Assessing against fire, theft, vandalism and illegal entry by unauthorized persons- Meeting and/or exceeding Sunrise service quality standards

Qualifications:
- Two (2) years job related experience preferred- Ability to handle multiple priorities- Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence- Proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Windows, Outlook, Excel) with the ability to learn new applications- Competent in organizational, time management skills- Demonstrates good judgment, decision making and problem solving skills; ability to deal with issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations- You must be able to contribute in a team based environment and actively participate in community meetings and workshops

VIEW JOBS 3/27/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-06-25T00:00 Overview Amyx is seeking an energetic and experienced action officer to join a dynamic, high-tempo organization as a staff action control officer (SACO) working directly for the Operations and Integration (OI) Chief of Staff, within the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) at Fort Belvoir, Virginia. Responsibilities Responsibilities and Daily Tasks: • Receive, analyze, manage, track, and execute all actions related to tasks assigned to the OI Directorate received within the Enterprise Information System (EIS)• Interpret and explain the purpose behind each task in order to accurately disseminate roles and responsibilities to the proper offices within the OI directorate • Provide tasker support, to include researching resources and coordinating with other action officers across the agency at large• Monitor the status of all tasks and actions to ensure deadlines and expectations are met• Gather, process, and inspect directorate responses for accuracy and completeness for leadership review before task closure• Develop and generate metrics in order to brief leadership on status of complete, late, and/or new tasks• Prepare and compile reports and briefs for weekly Chief of Staff synchronization meetingsAdditional duties may include: • Provide editing support for reports, briefings and memorandums; review documents for official signature, coordination or concurrence, for accuracy and completeness, conformance with style, format, or procedural requirements and guidelines.• Process, edit, and submit military and government civilian awards• Coordinate meetings, video teleconferencing (VTC) support and other administrative functions• Attend and brief at internal Chief of Staff meetings and working groups• Support other duties as requiredSupported Technologies:• Experience with Enterprise Information Systems (EIS), or similar tasking platform• Strong computer skills including demonstrated fluency in all Microsoft programs, to include Microsoft Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel• Experience with SharePoint• Experience with Adobe Pro• Experience with Records Management • Experience with Defense Travel System (DTS) is a plus Qualifications Required Skills and Qualifications:• Degree in Business Administration or related discipline or equivalent work experience • Active Top Secret Clearance • Keen understanding of Department of Defense (DoD) programs and policies, organizational structures, hierarchies, values, and mission• 7+ years of experience working in/for DoD organizations• 7+ years of experience supporting operational requirementsDesired Skills and Qualifications: • Experience supporting DoD senior leadership (Colonel or above)• Skilled in written and oral communications; messages and/or briefings are clear and concise• Demonstrate the ability to work with confidential and sensitive information• Ability to work well with a diverse professional staff, take on special projects, take initiative, and work independently• Ability to cope with frequent changes in priorities, as well as interruptions throughout the day• Prior active duty military or DOD experience is a plus• A background in military/DOD Intelligence, Operations, or Information Technology is helpful, but not required• Experience with tracking FOIA Requests Amyx is an Equal Opportunity employer.
