Summary

About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as . This position is located at the ST-APF-WANG96 4TH INF DIV SENIOR CDR AUG TDA.

Responsibilities

Serves as a Security Specialist in support of the surge of deployment/redeployment.
Responsible for the sensitive Compartmented Information programs and facilities.
Manages security of the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) program and operational security of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIF).
Provides guidance to Major Subordinate Commands (MSCs) and Tenant units on SSO policy and procedures.

Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
Two year trial/probationary period may be required.
In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on an SSBI with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
Temporary duty (TDY) travel may be required less than 25% of the time.
May be required to work additional duty hours during crisis or due to tasking.

You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
