GlobalResource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated andtalented individual for the position of Security Specialist II Special AccessProgram (SAP) Security Support.

JobDescription:

Summary:
The Security Specialist II SpecialAccess Program (SAP) Security Support will support agency SAP programs, and besupporting an experienced government SAP control officer.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide security advice, support andassistance to the Defense Threat Reduction Agency's Program Security Officer(PSO), Special Security Representative (SSR) and Security Manager (SM).

  • Facilitate all Special Access Programrequests and personnel security processes.

  • Responsible for managing the OperationSecurity (OPSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC)and Industrial Security (INDSEC) programs for collateral, SCI and SAPenvironments.

  • Responsible for the implementation ofthe Security Education and Training Awareness program.

  • Manage access control badging systems,security container and vault locks and internal alarm systemdevices.

  • Create, review and analyze technicalwritings.

  • Conduct security reviews for properclassification, declassification and marking of SAP documents

  • Manage the co-utilization andaccreditation of Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and SpecialAccess Program Facility (SAPF).

  • Manage multiple resource databases.

Requirement:

  • Associates Degree

  • Three (3) years of experience (within aSAP)

  • Completion of SAP Mid-Level SecurityCourse SA201.01 (or equivalent)

Security Requirements:

  • Top Secret/SCI

Skills:

  • Detailed knowledge of SAP security management and procedures

  • Knowledge of SAP markings

  • Knowledge of SAP reporting requirements

  • Able to communicate clearly orally and in writing

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software

Physical Requirements:
This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit,bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellentcustomer service via phone and face to face conversation, excellent written andoral command of English.

Job Description: Summary: The Security Specialist II, Information Security Specialist will provide support in the development and execution of the Agency's Information Security Program (ISP) to include classification/declassification program, security education and training programs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: * Develop relevant Security Classification Guides. * Develop and prepare draft SOPs, which incorporate specific implementing guidance and requirements and all essential guidance and ensure standardization throughout the division. The essential elements will be outlined and approved by the Government Project Officer (PO)/PM. The format will be in accordance with agency instructions. Each SOP will be revised and reviewed annually to ensure it is up to date and reflects current policy. Final SOPs will be delivered in hard copy and in an electronic format. The Government will provide resources data as required. * Operate the Automatic Declassification Program. Establish contacts and proven ability in the Automatic Declassification community. Review and manage the Mandatory Declassification Program. Establish policies and procedures for processing mandatory declassification review requests. * Support Agency-wide efforts. * Assist with the policy development, coordination and implementation. * Collaborate with subject matter experts and Division Chiefs to develop, coordinate and publish security procedures and documents. * Provide recommendations and options for intra- and inter-Agency coordination to the Chief. * Develop presentations and briefs, as requested. * Develop products for the security education and awareness training program * Develop relevant SCGs an assist agency personnel with completion of SCGs. Requirement: * Associates Degree * Five (5) years of experience in an Information Security Program or position * Information Security Management Course IF 201.01 (or equivalent) Security Requirements: * Top Secret/SCI Skills: * Determine Security violations and inefficiencies by conducting periodic audits * Experience working with Automatic and Mandatory Declassification Programs. * Thorough understanding of the Information Security Program to include marking, safeguarding, transmission, transporting, distribution, storage, and destruction. * Maintains quality service by following organization standards * Able to communicate clearly orally and in writing * Knowledge of Microsoft Office and associated software Physical Requirements: This position requires employees to be willing and able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.
