ManTech is currently seeking Security Specialist - Document Registry for Mission, Cyber & Intelligence Solutions (MCIS) Group in our Washington, D.C. location. MCIS is a premiere provider of cyber security, systems engineering, program protection, and advanced technical solutions to the Intelligence, Defense, and Fed-Civ communities.
The contractor occupying this position shall serve as the authorized representative for all issues related to the security, coordination, control, and distribution of special products. The contractor will interpret and define policy guidelines, develop and implement specific guidelines to meet localized requirements, and monitor program effectiveness.
The contractor will participate in program and project planning efforts to evaluate the need for security requirements and recommend equipment, methods, procedures, and systems. Manage the Document Registry to ensure timely, effective, and professional responsiveness to customers. Conduct indoctrination briefings of persons approved for access to special products.
Serve as the focal point for matters regarding the use special products in analytical reports and briefings; ensuring that reviews of special products occur in approved facilities; maintaining access lists of persons authorized and briefed into special programs; and, utilizing and enrolling users on special databases. Create, review and revise documentation procedure according to standard operating procedures. Train staff on document control processes and procedures.
Process, distribute, and maintain controlled documentation using a document control system. Organize the routing of documents throughout the process from conceptualization, approvals, distribution to filing.
Qualifications Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two to four years of related experience and ability to obtain a security clearance. Knowledge of DOD, DOE or other industrial security program and in-depth knowledge of the DOD, DOE or other government security regulatory manuals.
