You will serve as a SECURITY SPECIALIST in the G-3 DIVISION of MARINE FORCES PACIFIC.

You will be responsible for coordinating with the MARFORPAC Security Manager and Special Security Officer (SSO) to ensure interoperability between the various security disciplines.
You will provide guidance to MSC activities involved in SAP, STO, and ACCM functions.
You will serve as the principal source of expertise and continuity for all security matters related to day-to-day SAP, STO, and ACCM activities within the MARFORPAC headquarters and Special Programs facility.
You will assist in the preparation of indoctrination briefings on compartmented capabilities for the Commander and senior staff personnel and action officers at MARFORPAC.
You will be responsible for implementing unique and extensive multi-functional security programs to protect classified and sensitive information, hardware and capabilities.
You will serve as the liaison with technical security OPRs to satisfy security requirements for communications security (COMSEC), computer security (COMPUSEC), and emanations security (TEMPEST).
You will prepare and distribute instructional security training, education, and motivation material to MARFORPAC staff and MSC.
Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position.

This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: in multiple security disciplines (information, personnel, physical, communications, transportation, information systems, etc.), and address aspects related to SAP, STO, and ACCM.
