Provide a safe and secure environment for employees, contractors and guests, by leading a physical security and safety culture by maintaining, reviewing, updating and implementing physical security standards and procedures, overseeing security systems (badge access, cameras, alarms), responding to and investigating security incidents, providing data and reports for audit purposes (internal and external customers), and creating awareness and educating team members on proper procedures and behavioral controls.
Understand Deluxe Physical Security Standards, and review and revise as necessary dictated by business, customer, and regulatory requirements or demands. Ensure implementation of safe and secure standards throughout Deluxe facilities, including exterior space and property boundaries.
Monitor security systems, including electronic badge access control, video surveillance cameras and recorders, and building alarm monitoring. Act as main liaison with security vendors that supports, designs, and installs security system equipment and/or provides security personnel, such as receptionist positions.
Have knowledge of PCI Compliance and/or SOC Certification elements. Participate in and provide evidence for external customer or compliance audits.
Coordinate closely with Enterprise Safety Specialist and understand elements of security as they may relate to site Emergency Response Plans. Will act as a back-up role at times when Enterprise Safety Specialist is unavailable.
Support Real Estate and Facilities Team on building related projects that may require security recommendations, assessment, or project management.
Required: Education: Bachelors (or equivalent experience) in security and safety
Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience
Critical knowledge, skills, and abilities:
Broad understanding of and experience with security systems electronic access control, badge systems, key control, video surveillance, network video recording, intrusion and environmental alarms.
Broad understanding of sound security practices and procedures, and knowledge of best practices dual authentication, anti-passback, integrated systems,
Learn and adapt to current technology needs and offerings
Effective communication skills
Work both independently and with a team
Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
Understand and respond to needs of the business and business leaders.
