We are looking for an experienced and creative researcher to engage in security research for the development of current and future mobile networks' generations, used by billions of people. As a leading vendor of mobile networks, a wide range of security topics are of interest and importance to Ericsson, including communication protocol security, software security, trusted computing, applied crypto, security for AI, network security, security of devices and the IoT. This opportunity is to join our research team and engage in collaborations with the local ecosystem and universities locally and in the U.S., to conduct original research, drive innovation, and contribute to the formulation of the security research strategy globally in the company.

You will

  • Contribute to original research and the academic pursuit of new trusted solutions.

  • Research and remedy problems for networks, IoT, applied crypto, and software.

  • Be adept with the scientific method and publish your results in scientific conferences or journals.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external research communities.

To be successful in the role you must have

  • PhD or M.Sc. in Computer Science or any related technical field (candidates with equivalent practical work experience will be considered).

  • Strong understanding of field, methods, and state of the art in, at least, some topic areas.

  • Strong programming skills in one or more common languages like C/C++, Python, and Java. Other languages like Assembly, Golang, Rust, Scala considered an additional plus.

  • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, and innovation skills with high energy and motivation. Ability to represent Ericsson in discussions and collaborations with universities and other partners.

  • Ability to work both independently and in teams spanning multiple sites, globally.

  • Publication record in a security field, such as wireless network, AI, software security, security for IoT, trusted computing, or related fields.

A Supervisor should support the management team, be a resource for all departments, a model for customer service, a driver for sales, and a skillful problem solver. As a Supervisor in Store Operations you will spend the majority of your time handling the cash office, communicating with our Home Office, resolving merchandise payable matters, matching and processing invoices to ensure the store has the products to service our customers. You must be knowledgeable about department and store operations; matching and receiving invoices; and resolving problems all while being part of a company that is consistently rated as a great place to work - and where employees love what they do. Expectations: * Examine shipments and compare with records, such as invoices or orders, to verify accuracy. * Record shipment data, determine space requirements and position of shipments, manage damage, or discrepancies, for reporting, accounting, and record keeping purposes. * Prepare documents, such as work orders, bills of lading, or shipping orders, to route materials. * Correspond with established representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, or shortages. * Pack, seal, label, or affix postage to prepare materials for shipping. * Use hand tools, power tools, online shipping services, or postage meters. * Maintain a working knowledge of all departments in the store to provide daily support, direction, and guidance to customers and team members. * Help resolve customer issues and complaints and escalate problems to the management team when necessary. * Assist in the daily operation of the store in partnership with the management team and act as the Manager-on-Duty in the absence of the manager or at satellite locations. * Assist with assigning work and providing focused direction to booksellers to manage and accomplish multiple projects to ensure the proper execution of the workload. * May be needed to assist with processing sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments. * Part-time positions require availability to work on a weekly basis year round. Schedules may be set or vary to meet the needs of the store an hours will be less than 30 per week. Physical Demands: * Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and/or products. * Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods. * Frequent lifting. * Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Qualifications: * 2+ years' experience in a retail setting preferred. * Candidates must be a minimum of 16 years of age to be considered for employment. * High school diploma/GED preferred. * Outstanding customer service skills to match customers to products that meet their needs. * Basic reading, writing and accounting skills required. * Excellent customer service and communication skills needed. * Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem solving skills. * Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
