This position will serve as the Program Integrator and Alternate Facility Security Officer (AFSO) for a Category B facility.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) in the development of consistent practices and policies, and ensure the adoption of the tools across each program, ensuring consistency and compliance across the DoD programs.

  • Develop security education efforts and communications for all Boulder DoD programs in conjunction with the FSO and the Industrial Security Team.

  • Develop and administer the Self Inspection plan/program for Boulder facilities.

  • Focus on continuous improvement by recommending and championing events to streamline and standardize processes.

  • Backup to the FSO, and as such, may assume any and all duties listed for the FSO as appropriate.

The Integrator/AFSO will be involved with all aspects of security matters for the site. This role is responsible for security related decisions in the absence of the FSO and as a result should have prior DoD/NISPOM experience to include work with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Additionally, this position is responsible for the successful outcome of all government inspections.

You must be able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, interpret government policy and provide security guidance and direction to the programs, and have proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite of applications, SIMS, COMET, Sharepoint, and additional automated tools. Experience with Classification Management, Subcontracting, and Security Agreements (DD441 / DD441-1) is essential.

Final Secret Security clearance is required with ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Candidate will typically have 10+ years of experience.

Basic Qualifications

  • Final Secret with ability to obtain TS

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.

  • NISPOM experience.

  • Experience with JPAS.

  • Experience managing security incidents.

  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
