We are currently seeking a Security Operations (SOC) Manager to support our National Science Foundation (NSF) customer.

Place of Performance: Alexandria, VA

Start Date: Contingent on contract award

Clearance: Top Secret

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for IT Security Operations and manages technical teams

• Track and reports team activities and controls scheduling and task assignments

• Provides support to the resolution of technical and project focused initiatives

Required Skills:

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in Cyber Security and Security Operations

• Must possess a valid Top-Secret clearance

• IASAE Level III certification (CISSP, CISM, or CCSP certification)

• Experience in deploying secure systems in government or military environments

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field

• Understanding of system security concepts, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of leading teams and projects

Preferred Skills:

• Experience leading a SOC team

• Ability to develop and implement a SOC program that align with strategic initiatives and emerging technologies

• Experience with security tools such as CyberArk, Cylance, EnCase, HCL Appscan, McAfee Endpoint Protection, Splunk Enterprise, ServiceNow & Trellix Platform.
