Accountable for owning the oversight, strategic direction, administration, and governance of the physical security programs including facility security risk assessments, access control, alarm monitoring, CCTV systems, and assists in providing security-related training in a manner consistent with policies, procedures, quality standards, company needs, and applicable local, state and federal laws!

What you will be doing

  • Ensures the physical safety of Slack employees, assets, and company reputation!

  • Works with corporate partners to ensure Physical Security Site Implementation and Compliance Assessments.

  • Conducts site security surveys/risk assessments.

  • Recommend and integrate security upgrades as needed to maintain regulatory compliance, industry standards, and to adjust to changing security requirements.

  • Develops, maintains, and continually evaluates security access control systems.

  • Continually evaluates, reviews, and monitors security CCTV and Alarm Monitoring systems to ensure accurate placement, implementation, and configuration.

  • Inform violators of policy and procedure violations.

  • Conducts and participates in regular security awareness training and testing with offices globally.

  • Lead all aspects of the administration, management, and oversight of Physical Security operations across multiple locations.

  • Supervise and participate in day-to-day including monitoring, analysis, detection, and elevate security risks and threats.

  • Provide overall direction during the execution of the incident response process, providing advanced analysis and direction, facilitating appropriate escalations and serving as the communications conduit to management and employees.

  • Lead daily operations of the contracted vendor security provider.

  • Champions continuous improvement within SOC, identifying automation. Opportunities and tools that could improve the ability of the team to detect and react to events.

  • Direct the building and update the Security Operations SOPs.

What you should have

  • Domain expertise in the area of Physical Security.

  • Possesses strong working knowledge of security principles, policies, tools, and procedures.

  • Demonstrates a strong breadth of knowledge in security with some understanding of one security platform or technology.

  • Follows standard procedures to follow up on security incidents, collecting and reporting appropriate information.

  • Possess a technical background in alarm systems, badging procedures, and intrusion detection systems.

  • Superb communication skills (written, verbal, and listening).

  • AMAG experienced preferred.

This position The Security Operations Manager oversees the physical security program at DocuSign, including overseeing the 24/7 Global Security Support Center, planning and implementing security controls at DocuSign offices, and planning event security. This role requires an individual capable of meticulous planning, project tracking, people management, and the ability to provide rapid, clear information to all levels of DocuSign, including briefing executive staff. This position reports to the Director, Security and Investigations. Responsibilities * Work with the Director of Security and Investigations to further develop the SOP's and ERP's for DocuSign's Security Support Center. * Direct and train Security Support Center operators in all aspects of running the DocuSign Security Support Center. * Train DocuSign receptionists and new site managers globally on our badge responsibilities, security protocols, ISO 27001 and GDPR compliance, temp badge issuance and returns, and guest policies and procedures. * Established training decks for Security Support Center operators regarding various new platforms, and updated and improved existing training decks for preexisting applications, making them more comprehensive and thorough. * Conduct multiple emergency response drills ensuring that Security Support Operators are equipped with the proper skills to respond to emergencies that could affect DocuSign assets and employees. * Coordinate testing and completion of security program installation projects for new sites and site expansions. * Coordinate the repairing of security equipment with vendors. * Respond to and confirm closure of all types of physical security incidents arising from alarms in our access control system, notifications in person, via email and via phone, ensuring the safety and security of DocuSign personnel and assets. * Ensure notification of and proper documentation of security protocol violations by DocuSign employees, contractors and vendors. * Coordinate and confirm documentation of alarms, emergency response and other duties performed by the Physical Security team, providing metrics for our department to security management. * This position requires 24/7 on call. Basic Qualifications * 5+ years of industry experience working in a Security Operations Center, Security Support Center, or similar. * Experience with cloud based security intelligence systems such as NC4, World Aware, or similar. * Experience developing, managing, and coaching teams Preferred Qualifications * 3+ years experience managing operations in a technology company. * 3+ years experience operating or managing a 24/7 security environment, and/or operating a multi-national security program. * Comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt as needed * Record of planning and executing complex security projects About us DocuSign® helps organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements.
