Position Summary Details

The Security Operations Analyst I is responsible for assisting in the day to day tasks related to security controls, security projects, and continuous improvement of XSOLIS' security posture.

Essential Functions

Risk Management

• Learn to perform periodic and ongoing technical risk assessments

Cryptography

• Understands cryptography industry standards and can review configurations with assistance.

Secure Development

• Understands SDLC process and can review processes to ensure alignment with security requirements

Technical Vulnerability Management

• Assists with the vulnerability management program and related tooling across all services, applications, devices, endpoints, servers, etc.

Threat Monitoring

• Monitors security and compliance logging, alerting and other threat monitoring controls for the environment.

Incident Response

• Assists with events/incidents, incident response management and processing of security incidents as needed.

Qualifications

Education:

Bachelor's degree required

Experience:

1+ years of experience in similar role

Healthcare technology industry experience highly desired.

Cloud experience is desired and preferably AWS

Experience evaluating risk, vulnerabilities, and incidents

Exposure to security tools such as Trend Micro, Qualys, SonarQube, Acunetix, and Mend in addition to AWS security is highly desired

Experience with automation and scripting tools such as Python and Bash preferred

Other:

Some experience with implementing security best practices within a SaaS organization

Some understanding of SOC-2 attestations, HITRUST CSF certifications, and security standards such as NIST.

Ability to work with assistance in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Must be able to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.

Good communication skills.

Ability to read and write technical documentation such operating procedures

Well-organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking to effectively complete assignments.

Having an always curious approach to learning new skills

Ability to uphold the company values

Working Environment and Travel Requirements

Work is typically in a normal office administrative environment involving minimal exposure to physical risks.

Position requires little to moderate physical activity. Mostly sedentary work exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. Work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. No significant stooping is usually required.

Minimal travel.

Candidates must successfully pass a background check and drug screen (if applicable) prior to beginning employment with XSOLIS.
