Titan Security is currently hiring for Security Officers to work at a location in the Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti, Michigan area.

Candidates must have a valid Drivers License! Current open shifts are:

• Ann Arbor is 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM, Full-time

• Ypsilanti is 7:00 PM - 3:00AM, Part-time

Responsibilities

Generally, the responsibilities of mobile security officers typically include:

Patrolling and Monitoring: Conducting regular patrols of assigned areas to ensure security and safety protocols are being followed. This may involve monitoring premises, identifying potential security risks, and responding to incidents promptly.

Surveillance: Utilizing surveillance equipment and technology to monitor activities and detect suspicious behavior or unauthorized access.

Access Control: Controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials, monitoring entrances and exits, and ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles are allowed entry.

Report Writing: Documenting incidents, observations, and any security-related activities in detailed reports. These reports may be used for future reference, investigations, or legal purposes.

Customer Service: Providing assistance and information to employees, visitors, or customers regarding security procedures, directions, and general inquiries.

Technology Use: Utilizing mobile devices or applications for communication, reporting, and accessing security information while on patrol.

Adherence to Policies: Enforcing company policies and procedures related to security, safety, and conduct.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age• High School diploma or general education degree (GED)• Able to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check

• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English• Able to meet physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50+ lbs, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, working in inclement weather

Preferred Qualifications• Previous experience as a security officer

• Driver's license and satisfactory DMV history• Bi-lingual considered a plus

Pay and Benefits• Competive Wages from $15.00-16.00 per hour, vary on location
