Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental philosophy and objectives, as well as Health System Incentives. EDUCATION/TRAINING: Within orientation period must receive mandatory certification through IAHSS (International Association of Health System Safety and Security.) They must also receive a certification in CPR CPI (Crisis Preventive intervention.) and AVADE training courses within 90 days of hire.# Associate Degree preferred.# LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:

Must have valid driver#s license and must have a driving record that allows for the Health System insurance carrier to cover the incumbent. EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/ABILITIES: Security, Law enforcement or Military background is preferred.# Excellent communication skills and the ability to write clear, concise and accurate security reports.# Ability to effectively interact with all levels of staff and the public within the organization and community.# Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
