Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Officers. Our Security Officers allow us to contribute to our company's core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • Able to obtain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

  • Able to:

  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

VIEW JOBS 7/15/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-13T00:00 Job Description Description SAIC is seeking a highly competent and proactive Physical Security Officer to join our team in our Albuquerque, NM office. The ideal candidate shall focus on physical security to support an active customer program office and their impactful mission. The successful candidate must be able to work independently but also be a part of a collaborative team to meet all the customer's security requirements. Exceptional organizational skills and follow-through are essential to assisting the customer with their extensive physical security needs. Key responsibilities include: * Prepare, process and maintain personnel security packages for Special Access Programs (SAPs) * Ensure compliance with Prime DD-254 and be able to prepare subcontractor DD-254s, if required. * Prepare Security Operating Procedures (SOPs) outlining customer guidelines and establishing procedures for the handling, storing, and transportation of program assets * Requires a robust experience interpreting and implementing PHYSICAL security requirements of the NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 705 Technical Specification, and ICS 705-1/2 builds standards * Must have experience with physically inspecting and reviewing contractor facilities to determine if they compliant with customer guidelines and directives. In cases of non-compliance, advise the customer on steps to achieve accreditation. * Prepare Systems Security Plans (SSPs) in accordance to customer security guidelines; assist with management of classified information systems, perform weekly audits of classified information systems; validate security controls have been implemented; process hardware and software requests and perform software due diligence. Assist systems administrator with decommissioning of classified systems. * Have familiarity with submittal of facility waiver request paperwork * Flexibility to provide surge support for other security functions when needed across the team * Partner and develop relationships throughout the Government organization as well as with contractor companies * Act as a liaison between the Accrediting authority and the contractor companies * Pro-actively identify physical and program security requirements, problems, and sound solutions; imparting your expertise of security systems, concepts, and infrastructure Qualifications * Must have a current/active TS/SCI * Must have a Bachelor's degree and at least 6 years of comprehensive security experience. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree. * Must have minimum of 9 years of experience supporting and/or managing collateral, SCI and/or special access Industrial and Physical security disciplines/programs * Requires a robust experience interpreting and implementing PHYSICAL security requirements of the NISPOM, ICD 705, ICD 705 Technical Specification, and ICS 705-1/2 builds standards * Must have experience with physically inspecting and reviewing contractor facilities to determine if they are in compliance with customer guidelines and directives.
