Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Officers. Our Security Officers allow us to contribute to our company's core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • Able to obtain a valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

  • Able to:

  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

See Other Information for locations. Learn more about this agency Responsibilities WHAT DOES A REVENUE OFFICER (COLLECTION ANALYST) DO? As a Revenue Officer, Collection Analyst, you will be responsible for coordinating and evaluating the development of new locator services contracts at the local level; coordinating with governmental liaisons to secure information from governmental agencies; provide outreach training, presentations and workshops on systems administered by Functional Automation Support (FAS) such as Automated Trust Fund Recovery (ATFR); Credit Bureau; Integrated Collection System (ICS); Locator Services); coordinates processing of S-ROC: employee moves, creation of and collapsing of territories and groups; provide training on the provision of the Fair Credit Reporting Act; serve as Collection Field function Point of Contact (POC) for computer hardware and software problems; coordinates rollout of "new automation products" end user training; assists with end user computer training; provide Area Directors and Territory Managers with quarterly ATFR Measure Reports. As a Revenue Officer (Collection Analyst) you will: * Develop and present complete plans for activities assigned, and coordinate programs or program segments and related procedures. * May participate in formal or informal studies, either on own initiative or as directed by the supervisor. Formulate project proposals, make recommendations on priorities, scope, timing and techniques for consideration and decision by the supervisor. * Implement, plan and prepare draft program documents, technical material and other guidance related to ongoing programs, or in order to implement new programs. * Conduct special studies and analyses of data to evaluate program accomplishments. Review and analyze statistical reports and develops other information to identify trends, deficiencies, potential problem areas and the impact of new programs having broad impact on collection activities. * Develop collection strategies, model plans, or significant procedures for use by revenue officers to address new program requirements and practices, or implement new laws or regulations. * Coordinate collections-related studies and activities with other areas, divisions and business units. * Provide input or assist in preparing broad national directives, guidance or documents pertaining to the collection process and related programs. * Prepare written reports, procedures, correspondence, referrals and forms that are clear, concise and accurately reflect the factual information. Serve as an expert technical advisor in providing guidance to staff and other revenue officers by interpreting/implementing new or modified policies.
