Position:

Security Officer

We'll trust you to:

• Respond to all emergencies, sick/injured people and unauthorized persons.

• Respond to alarms and conditions as directed by the Security Operations Center.

• Prepare reports for unusual occurrences, when necessary.

• Monitor the C-CURE security system for unauthorized card usage, alarms, and access control.

• Monitor Genetec cameras for conditions at multiple properties.

• Direct patrol units to investigate conditions that need further attention.

• Process new/replacement ID cards for employees.

• Perform routine security patrols across all of Lazard's buildings and offices.

• Provide executive protection for management and high-profile clients.

You'll need to have:

• Prior law enforcement or related field experience required (not active)

• Experience in responding to and resolving emergency situations.

• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).

• Prior knowledge of C-Cure security system or similar security management system preferred but not required.

• Genetec Security Center experience (or similar) preferred but not required.

Hours:

Lazard has a security operation of 24 hours a day, 7 days per week, including weekends and holidays. All part-time staff must be flexible with the rotating schedule on an 8-hour shift.
