Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all guests, team members and company assets.
Provide the highest standard of guest service while listening/responding to guest, vendor and team member concerns and questions.
Protect tribal assets by observing and reporting unusual, dangerous or suspicious activities throughout KLECH property.
Physically and visually monitor KLECH property including but not limited to the gaming floor, back of the house area, parking lots and parking garages.
Patrol assigned area as needed.
Maintain a direct line of communication with immediate supervisor/s and the surveillance team.
Escort the transfer of money, chips, tokens and markers.
Write reports of incidents and/or injuries that occur on KLECH property and document other important information as needed.
Control access to restricted areas.
Adhere to departmental and KLECH Standard Operating Procedures and Policies and Procedures.
Perform all functions in accordance with applicable Tribal, Federal and other laws and gaming regulations and Kickapoo Lucky Eagle policies and procedures.
Attend and participate in all department and casino mandatory meetings as required.
Attend and satisfactorily complete all required training classes as assigned and required.
Perform other duties as assigned.

This position is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, and/or bend for extended periods; reach with hands and arms; talk and listen on a regular basis.

The primary constant work location for this position is the first floor of the casino floor in a smoke-filled environment.
Work is predominantly performed in a temperature-controlled environment, under fluorescent lighting with varying noise levels. However, frequent exposure to outside weather conditions is likely.
Occasional periods of working under high pressure and long hours, under stressful conditions can be expected.
Exposure to the risks associated in attempting to resolve issues with difficult external casino guests and extremely irate staff members is possible.
Traveling away from the casino by land, motorized vehicle, and/or air may randomly be required.
Must have a high school diploma or GED.
Must demonstrate effective English verbal and written communication skills.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must pass assessment test administered by security management.
Must be able to obtain and retain a KTTT Gaming Commission Gaming License, including successful completion of background check necessary to obtain and maintain License. Responsible to keep all documents current and valid at all times.
Must be able to provide authorization to work in the United States.
Must possess a valid, state issued driver's license.
Must have access to reliable transportation to commute to and from work.
Must be willing and able to work nights, weekends, holidays and/or extended hours if required.
Verbal and written communication skills in Spanish and other languages are a plus.
Level 1 security training.
One to two (1-2) years of security experience.
Knowledge of local, state and/or federal jurisdiction laws.
