The Security Officer I performs general safety & security duties including patrol and detection services, assisting customers, response and intervention responsibilities, provide monitoring services to assure team member, patient and visitor safety, completes communication and documentation tools, completes other duties as assigned. Requires specific skills also includes life safety inspection techniques.

You may begin work as unarmed security officer upon submission of your complete Class ?D? security officer license application. If your application is deemed incomplete, a Notice of Errors or Omissions will be sent to you and to your employer.

Your employment must be terminated until the problems outlined in the letter are resolved. Upon submission of a complete application, a Class ?D? applicant may commence employment or appropriate duties for a licensed agency or branch office. If the department denies application for licensure, the employment of the applicant must be terminated immediately, unless he or she performs only unregulated duties.

VIEW JOBS 11/13/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-11T00:00 Critical Care Internship Program - April 2019 This is a great opportunity for those interested in Critical Care This posting is for South Florida Baptist Hospital offering experience in ICU SEE ESSAY REQUIREMENT below Required Experience: 1 year of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry experience in an acute care setting or LTAC facility is highly preferred. RN's with prior acute LPN and or new graduates will be given consideration subject to the RN manager's discretion. Required Licensure: FL RN License Required Certification: BLS ( and EKG course must be completed prior to start date. Certification or transcripts will be required to interview) Completion of an EKG course is required for the program. You will be administered an EKG Challenge test upon interview. If you have not completed an EKG course in the last three years, it is recommended you enroll in a class before applying for the program. You must pass the EKG course with an 80 percent. You are allowed two attempts during the first couple weeks of the program. Contact Glenda Lister 813-870-4753 to schedule shadow shifts or get more information on EKG classes. In order to be further considered for this internship, you must submit an essay within one week from the date your application is submitted.
