Job Description

Allied Universal is currently seeking a Full Time Security Officers to help oversee operations at a Corporate Golf Giant in Holyoke MA

Exceptional customer service provider

Great communication skills, both written and verbal

Candidate should be comfortable using both computers and tablet

Candidate must be able to walk/sit/stand for long periods of time

Allied Universal is seeking Professional Security Officers. Our Security Officers allow us to contribute to our company's core purpose of providing unparalleled service, systems and solutions to serve, secure and care for the people and businesses of our communities.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Be at least 18 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent

  • Possess effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner

  • Valid guard card/license, as required in the state for which you are applying.

  • As a condition of employment, employee must successfully complete a background investigation and a drug screen in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws

  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills

  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites

  • Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently

  • Able to:

  • Work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat

  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds

  • Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift

  • Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time

The MGO manages a portfolio of potential donors that will be cultivated, solicited, and stewarded in support of programmatic and capital priorities established by Cooley Dickinson Health Care (CDHC) leadership as well as fundraising goals. Relationships with potential donors include the identification and engagement of potential donors, building relationships, connecting donors to Cooley Dickinson's mission, soliciting support, and stewardship. The MGO embraces the department's mission to raise philanthropic funds for CDHC. This position reports to the Managing, Director of Development and operates within established organizational and departmental policies and procedures. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: * High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree and 5 – 7 years of experience in development or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience required * Demonstrated track record in raising philanthropic funds for nonprofit organizations and understanding of major gifts and planned giving concepts required; experience in a health care environment preferred * Demonstrated ability to work well and build relationships with diverse constituencies required * Experience working with annual, capital, major, and planned giving donors required * Demonstrated working knowledge of the various aspects, goals, and processes of a broad-based fundraising program required * Demonstrated ability to problem solve, devise, and implement creative solutions required * Solid organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects on deadline, to prioritize and perform multiple tasks efficiently and effectively, and an ability to respond effectively to changing circumstances required * Demonstrated excellent written and oral communication skills required * Demonstrated proficiency in Word, Excel and Blackbaud or other fundraising software preferred * Ability to travel within the community to conduct business required Partners Healthcare System Northampton MA
