Title: Security Officer, EMT Certified

Status: Non-Exempt, Full-time

Hours: Full-time: 30+ hours based on availability.

Work Shift: Multiple shifts available. 1st shift: 6:45 AM - 2:45 PM. 2nd shift: 2:45 PM - 10:45 PM. 3rd shift: 10:45 PM to 6:45AM.

Pay: $20+ per hour based on experience

General Summary: The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for all residents, visitors, staff and protecting Community property. This includes, but is not limited to, providing security, medical, and additional services for residents, as needed.

Essential Job Duties:

• Makes scheduled rounds both inside and outside the buildings to maintain a secure environment for residents and their property as well as company property.
• Complete daily rounds reports.
• Responds to all fire alarms and emergency calls.
• Continuous patrols of property and facilities.
• Completes incidents reports (regarding medical response calls, theft of property, accidents, fires, serious mechanical malfunctions, emergency response, and violations of rules and regulations)
• Attendance is essential to this job. Must also maintain dependability and punctuality as outlined in Attendance policy.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must have EMT certification
• One (1) year of security experience preferred
• Ability to understand and follow instructions in English, communicate effectively, and perform simple arithmetic
