Security Manager- Global Security

Capital One is looking for an experienced Security Manager Global Security.

The Manager serves as the primary point of contact between Global Security and Capital Ones lines of business (LOBs), providing advice and solutions that mitigate operational, strategic and tactical risks. Perform vulnerability assessments that ensure Capital One LOBs are compliant with corporate standards, industry requirements and governmental regulations pertaining to security. Partner with multiple clients through a combination of internal relationship management, applied business analysis and project management. Gain senior management support for security initiatives that will yield significant business impacts. Responsible for planning, organizing and executing assurance reviews of existing and emerging security programs. Design, develop and execute tests and programs to assess compliance with security-related policies, procedures and applicable banking laws and regulations. Oversee a large contract security guard staff across large campus and corporate office environments, data centers, call centers and retail environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide security consulting to internal Global Security Clients and external clients across Capital One.

  • Perform vulnerability assessments that ensure Capital One LOBs are compliant with corporate standards, industry requirements and governmental regulations pertaining to security

  • Forge partnerships with Global Security colleagues and external clients on security-related programs. Effectively influence associates across the organization to implement programs. Establish and maintain good client relationship

  • Responsible for planning, organizing and executing assurance reviews of existing and emerging security programs

You Should have:

  • The ability to manage staff across diverse environments to include open campus environments, corporate sites, data centers and retail locations.

  • Experience with a fortune 500 company or similar experience in large security consulting / contract security firm

  • The ability to develop and manage relationships with local, state and federal law enforcement and emergency management officials and organizations

  • Proven experience partnering with agencies to further organizational security objectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or military experience

  • At least 5 years of experience in physical security, or threat-management, or security management

At least 5 years of experience managing a contract security staff

  • At least 5 years of experience in Analysis program management

  • At least 5 years of experience in Relationship management and security consulting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE)
  • 7 years of experience in physical security, or threat-management, or security consulting
  • 7 years of experience in Analysis program management
