Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Security Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse security professionals. The Security Manager/FSO will provide leadership for a team of security professional supporting the Mission Readiness & Protective Systems Business Unit (BU) overseeing multiple campuses and Operating Units (OUs). The position is located at Manhattan Beach, CA. This position requires some travel. As the BU security manager you will routinely interface with BU and OU leadership, program management and government customers. This position reports to the Division Security Manager.

Oversee site security activities that support DoD collateral, and Special Programs contracts and must be familiar with and provide guidance to ensure compliance with National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM), DoD SAP Manuals and Missile Defense Agency (MDA) security requirements
Work collaboratively in a team environment providing security leadership to BU & OU leadership, program management, program personnel, other functional team members and security professionals
Participate in business development activities, plan security support for future business and be responsible for developing and managing budgets
Function with minimal direction and at a high level of productivity which includes site Emergency Preparedness / Contingency Planning responsibilities
Provide challenging assignments, help employees connect their efforts to the bigger picture, create an inclusive work environment characterized by mutual respect and the valuing of differences, build a culture that balances caring and accountability, motivates and mentors employees to their highest levels of performance

Bachelor's Degree with a minimum of 15 years' related industrial security work experience
Minimum 5 years of managerial experience including leading organizational change and transformation
Must be a US Citizen with Top Secret Clearance to start
Current SCI Security access
Knowledge of SCI Security regulations/ICD's or DoD SAP Manuals
Industrials Security Professional (ISP) certification through NCMS
