Security Shift Lead Officer- 2 positions
Will provide a safe and secure workplace for employees, vendors and visitors while protecting the company assets. This is a full-time position with one shift primarily working grave shift hours of 10:30 pm 7:00 am and one shift primarily working swing shift hours of 2:30pm 11:00pm, including weekends. Both Security Shift Lead Officers will need to have availability to fill in for other shifts and work overtime based on business needs
Protect property against fire, theft and damage.
Supervise security officers on shift and ensure all shift responsibilities are completed in a timely manner.
Conduct training for new hires that include patrol procedures, emergency response/evacuation, incident report documentation, etc.
Detailed incident report writing.
Enforce access control, security regulations and restrictions relative to company operations.
Respond to all emergencies and take appropriate action until emergency services arrives.
Perform hourly rounds of the facility.
Able to travel and work out of town.
Manage and report security/safety incidents in a timely manner to management to ensure proper documentation and follow-up.
Basic computer knowledge (Word and Excel).
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business policies, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from employees, clients, customers and the general public.
Solid basic math skills.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
