Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Security Investigator to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This is an opportunity to apply proven investigative skills in a dynamic and challenging DoD campus environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations related to an array of security incidents to include interviewing personnel, collecting personal statements, writing reports of investigation, and making a final determination of culpability (i.e. security violation or infraction). Investigations will be conducted in accordance with the Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 Volume 1 and the DoDM 5200.01 Volume 3 and applicable Company/AS Sector Policies and Procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of investigation experience/Master's Degree with 3 years of investigation experience

  • Active DoD Secret clearance

  • Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program access

  • Experience compiling reports of investigation

  • Knowledge of DoD investigative policies and procedures.

  • Knowledge and expertise of JPAS and DoD adverse reporting requirements.

  • Experience conducting investigations

  • Knowledge of counterintelligence program processes and management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with JPAS, SIMs Database

  • Familiar with Northrop policies and procedures

  • TS/SCI clearance

  • Masters degree

  • Experience with counterintelligence and OPSEC programs

The selected candidate will develop and implement training system requirements for training courseware in support of the overall Training System. Essential Functions: Understanding of Instructional Systems Design (ISD) and related products such as Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM) and multimedia development. Ability to read and interpret aircraft maintenance technical data and associated drawings. * ISD functions to include task analysis, learning objectives, instructional strategies and adult learning theories, evaluation methods, media selection and design, storyboarding, and multimedia development for instructor-led academic lessons, and device training instructional guides * Work closely with engineers, subject matter experts, graphic artists, and external customers for completion of training deliverables * Strong written and verbal communication skills required, as well as strong organizational skills and an ability to work in a deadline-oriented environment The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. Researching, developing, and course conducts of maintenance training to include vehicle systems description, theory of operation, trouble shooting, repair and all safety procedures are an integral part of this job.
