Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Security Investigator to join our team in Melbourne, FL. This is an opportunity to apply proven investigative skills in a dynamic and challenging DoD campus environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting investigations related to an array of security incidents to include interviewing personnel, collecting personal statements, writing reports of investigation, and making a final determination of culpability (i.e. security violation or infraction). Investigations will be conducted in accordance with the Department of Defense Manual (DoDM) 5205.07 Volume 1 and the DoDM 5200.01 Volume 3 and applicable Company/AS Sector Policies and Procedures.
Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of investigation experience/Master's Degree with 3 years of investigation experience
Active DoD Secret clearance
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program access
Experience compiling reports of investigation
Knowledge of DoD investigative policies and procedures.
Knowledge and expertise of JPAS and DoD adverse reporting requirements.
Experience conducting investigations
Knowledge of counterintelligence program processes and management.
Experience with JPAS, SIMs Database
Familiar with Northrop policies and procedures
Experience with counterintelligence and OPSEC programs
