Job Summary
Guard, patrol, or monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules; respond to first aid emergencies; support occupational safety or risk mitigation initiatives
Primary Responsibilities
Answer alarms and investigate disturbance
Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
Patrol campus premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates
Render first aid care as needed
Report potential risk management or occupational safety issues
Maintains the confidentiality of the information the associate will be exposed to.
Reports for their work shift on time, works their allotted hours (19 hours during regular school weeks, up to 40 hours during breaks), and coordinates time-off requests ahead of time with the exception of unforeseen emergencies
All hours must be submitted on your last shift of the week to be approved.

Certifications/Licenses: Must have a Hawaii State Security Guard License. CPR and basic First Aid certification within 60 days of employment.

Commitment Date: The student employee must agree to a minimum period of 1-year employment or 2 semesters. The candidate must be able to start immediately.
