Job Summary:

Job Summary

GAF is looking for a Security Guard who will be responsible for the physical security of the Baltimore facility.

Essential Duties

• Monitor all entrances, exits, lock gates and offices as required.
• Monitor daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
• Receive, sign and reconcile all receipts for raw materials as well was process the receipts in the appropriate system.
• Conduct plant tours to inspect fire extinguishers, valve house and plant perimeter.
• Log all activities in the command log book including any visitors and contractors entering the facility.
• Escort visitors, contractors and employees as needed on site.
• Escort employee's offsite to Clinic/ER for post-accident testing or treatment. (need personal car)
• Security oversees plant deliveries and ensures that they are received by the appropriate department (production, maintenance, shipping).
• Respond to calls for service and plant emergency situations as needed.
• Record utility meter readings as needed.
• Report and complete incident reports as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required

• H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) or its equivalent coupled with 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in security in a manufacturing environment Required
• In addition, knowledge of relevant security regulations, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.

Consideration will be given based on geography, candidate experience, and qualifications.

Annual Salary Range: 37,487-47,900
