Security Guard

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, provides protective services to assigned locations, patients, visitors, and staff. Patrols ECRMC premises on foot to protect life and property. Manages disruptive persons professionally with a minimum use of force; controls access to restricted and security sensitive areas; responds to fire/security alarm activations, assumes scene command in emergency situation; observes and reports safety hazards, gives direction and assistance to ECRMC clientele

• Security Guard Card

• High School Diploma

• CPR *American Heart Association

• Must ANNUALLY take and pass ECRMC physical agility test in addition to pre-employment physical

• New hires are required to provide proof of vaccination against COVID-19, no later than the first day of work, or sign a declination statement for employee's medical contraindication or sincerely held religious belief, practice, or observance

Position Pay Range: $18.00- $25.18/hour

In compliance with the California Pay Transparency Act, El Centro Regional Medical Center (ECRMC) posts the pay range for all jobs. Please note that actual pay will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Please also note this range is applicable for employees who reside in California only. A geographical pay differential may be applied for remote employees who reside out of state.
