Security Guard

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be present at CMCF sites at assigned times

• Provide service to patients and personnel by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies where appropriate as well as emergency response activities.

• Perform regular patrols through and around the location.

• Respond to critical situations with a calm attitude and intentions of resolving any issues

• Participate in initial and ongoing trainings in verbal de-escalation and physical de-escalation techniques

• Report irregular activities. Complete reports by recording observations, information, and surveillance.

• Greet and assist patients and answer questions with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age 21 years old

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Security Guard License a plus - not required

• Ability to communicate tactfully and diplomatically

• Collaborative disposition

• Must have drivers license and reliable transportation

• Have a phone or reliable form of communication

• Able to perform routine foot patrols, do moderate lifting, and physically restrain individuals as needed
