Global Resource Solutions, Inc. (GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic,

motivated, detail orientated, and talented individual for the position

of Security Escort.

Job Description:

The Escort is primarily responsible to perform protective service and escort

work such as escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and

property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to

installations by employees and visitors. The Escort will ensure positive

control of all approved but uncleared individuals - from verification of

identify upon arrival at the facility to personally escorting them within the

facility and ensuring they exit appropriately. The Escort does not act in the

capacity of a law enforcement officer and has no arrest or apprehension

powers. A majority of the work is performed indoors within the facility.

Essential Duties Responsibilities:

  • Initiates, updates, tracks and closes

incident/support requests;

  • Required to follow all company personnel and

safety policies, and perform all assigned duties in a safe work manner.

  • Will arrive at work at the designated time in

proper uniform and carrying needed, issued equipment.

  • Will carry out general and special orders for

post assigned.

  • Will communicate via radio, telephone and

orally according to orders.

  • Required to interact and escort as required

with public and government personnel.

  • Will be responsible for cleanliness of uniform

and equipment assigned.

  • Meet, greet and interact professionally with

employees, VIPs, and the general public

  • Maintain poise and self-control under stress.

  • Construct and write clear, concise, accurate,

and detailed reports in English.

  • Read, speak, understand, and apply printed

rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training materials in English.

  • Must be able to work flexible hours to include

weekends and holidays and be on call

  • Other duties may be assigned to meet business




High School Diploma or GED

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.

  • Prior military, civilian, or security guard experience


  • Honorably discharged (If Applicable)

  • Successfully completed all training and have obtained all

required permits, licenses, certifications and security clearances for the


  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to

perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Security Requirements:

Active Top Secret Clearance with access to SCI is required



Licenses, Registrations, Clearance:

U.S. Citizenship

Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license.

Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written

rules, detailed orders, instructions and training material

Physical Requirements:
This position requires employees to be willing and

able to: sit, bend, reach, stoop, squat, stand, and walk.

Communication: Excellent customer service via phone and face to face

conversation, excellent written and oral command of English.

SUMMARY Global Asset Technologies, LLC, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation is currently seeking several part time and full time qualified Escorts for the AWG Access Control in Fort Meade, MD. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform duties as directed by the Access Control Supervisor or Shift Supervisor. * Conduct roving vehicular and/or foot security checks IAW standing procedures to monitor access control to assigned facilities, and the perimeter of the assigned Compound, to determine deficiencies and breaches, and immediately notify local law enforcement personnel, as necessary. * Recommend changes to access control procedures to reduce opportunities for theft, assault, illegal entry, or other kinds of violations. * Monitor and report on the status of protected property, material, equipment, and personnel, and immediately notify local law enforcement personnel, as necessary. * Routinely conduct checks and surveillance to detect individuals committing acts of violence, trespass, and theft of federal or personal property, and immediately notifying local law enforcement personnel, as necessary. * Escort and roving employees shall obtain and maintain throughout the term of this contract a SECRET security clearance. * Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS - EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION Required (Minimum) Qualifications * In compliance with Federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form (I-9) upon hire. * High School Diploma or GED. * Minimum of two (2) years' experience as a full time employee of a civilian law enforcement agency, military police, or government/civilian security guard organization; or a minimum of two (2) years military experience in specified military occupational specialties in which the military tour of duty included duties involving security, force protection, weapons proficiency, protecting property, maintaining law and order, protecting lives or other duties similar in nature (i.e., Military Police, Infantry, Special Forces, Security Forces, Communications, War Veteran, etc.). * Honorably discharged (if applicable). * Must possess and maintain a valid state driver's license. * Must speak, read, write, and understand the English language, apply written rules, detailed orders, instructions, and training material. * Have no record or history of illegal drug use, sale, possession, or manufacture during the previous five (5) years. * Have no convictions that reflect on the individual's reliability including those crimes classified under Lautenberg Act. * First Aid certification * CPR/AED certification * Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET clearance. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Excellent communication, interpersonal and team building skills to engender rapport with military personnel, civilians, and other contracts at all levels of DoD * Knowledge of national security program directives and standards is a must * Excellent writing and speaking skills are essential. * Must be able to operate a personal computer and standard office equipment. * Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, database, (MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint), and Outlook.
