A utilities company is growing and looking to hire a Security Engineer to their team. They are looking for someone to lead the security risk assessments and monitor the IT environment. This person will be working with compliance frameworks including NIST, ITIL, and ISO. He/She will be working directly with GRC platforms, specifically Archer. This person will be developing and documenting risk treatment plans and monitoring proposed changes to the technology department. The selected candidate will be leading the implementation of the GRC platform for this company.
This person will be in a leadership position and will be mentoring junior Security Analysts. He/She must have excellent communication skills as they will be working with technical and non-technical teams. They need someone who has strong GRC knowledge and is ready to come into a company and make an impact.This is a new position due to growth, so this is a great time to get involved in this organization.
Required Skills & Experience

Extensive GRC Experience
Strong Risk Assessment Background
Compliancce Framework Experiencce with NIST, ISO 27001/2, ITIL, or SOX
GRC Platform Experience (RSA Archer, Lockpath, etc)
Project based Security Experience
4 year Degree
Excellent Communication Skills
Desired Skills & Experience

Experience in an Enterprise Environment
Leadership Skills
Vulnerability Assessment Exposure

The SVP will lead a team charged with identifying, measuring and mitigating risks. Responsibilities include: * Insurance and Bond Programs - Negotiates and purchases company insurance/risk management programs. Maintains Relationships with insurance and surety markets.
