Job Overview:

Responsible for addressing all phases of complex information security related technical problems. Reviews and recommends information security solutions to customer problems based on an understanding of products/systems test results. Makes well-thought-out decisions on complex or ambiguous issues. Handles conflicting direction and resolves conflict to proceed. Participate with system security analysis and implementation, system engineering, design assurance, testing, software engineering, program design, configuration management, integration and testing of information security products and techniques. Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff. Monitors project schedules and costs. Plans, conducts and supervises assignments. Reviews progress and evaluates results. Recommends changes in procedures. Reviews progress with management. Operates with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of particular field of specialization to the completion of complex assignments. May cross fields.

  • Acts as a dedicated resource for configuration, deployment and integration of encryption, public-key infrastructure, data access governance tools (Thales nShield Connect HSM, Vormetric Data Security Manager, Microsoft Certificate Services Infrastructure, Comodo TLS Certificate Manager, Varonis DatAdvantage/DatAlert, STEALTHBits)

  • Provides escalation and on-call support for issues.

  • Documents technical engineering, standard operating procedures, integration and upgrade plans, and system configuration specifications.

  • Installs and upgrades encryption, PKI and Data protection applications.

  • Gathers user input to develop technical requirement documents for setup of encryption within systems.

  • Implements, manages, and troubleshoots corporate firewalls, IDS, IPS, encryption and authentication systems.

  • Creates security devices for alerts, notification and other significant messages for security operations.

  • Conducts research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of security systems.

  • Participates in annual internal and Sarbanes Oxley audit requirements and ad hoc network and security audits.

  • Provides guidance, training, leadership and coaching to the junior network engineers of the team as required.

  • Leads analysis and development of technical solutions to resolve problems and involves and guides other team members in problem solving activities.

  • Understands project management methodology and leads resource planning, estimation and responsibility assignment process

  • Stays abreast of emerging technologies and trends in software development industry.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

  • Knowledge relating to Firewall, Secure Network Server, Data Governance tools.

  • Knowledge of Sarbanes Oxley requirements.

  • 6 - 8 years' experience in the Information Technology Industry.

  • Proven experience and success with network design and implementation.

  • Proven experience with network capacity planning, network security principles, and general network management best practices.

  • Excellent hardware troubleshooting experience.

  • Some application support experience.

Works closely with Category Managers to achieve the goals of the category business plan. Provides supply chain/inventory management for a limited promotionally active grocery desk and corresponding financial accountabilities. Buys in accordance with all policies and procedures established by the Company, Category Manager(s), and Distribution. Job Responsibilities: * Reviews acquisition costs to ensure items purchased are at the lowest cost consistent with considerations of quality, reliability of source, and urgency of need. * Assesses current inventory to determine order quantity. * Completes forward buy research, analysis and makes recommendations to Category Manager. * Completes purchase order input based on review of stock status report and safety stock levels. * Reviews monthly display planner to determine what inventory levels are needed to meet ad requirements. * Conducts post-promotional reviews and analysis to determine if promotional requirements were met and if there were problem areas, develops solutions. * Conducts logistics planning processes while ordering products to attain the best net product price possible. * Manages inventory investment to attain projected category profitability. * Reviews and resolves pre-books/scan based issues received from stores or division personnel, may require reordering product or accepting product returns from stores. * Completes quarterly scorecard to assess whether inventory, service level and category profitability were attained. * Reviews and analyzes daily and weekly reports to check service levels and inventory turns, makes adjustments as needed. * Conducts loss prevention reviews and recommends package changes to the category team. * Visits stores, as needed, to monitor programs, obtain store feedback and to assess overall implementation effectiveness as needed. * Approves Accounts Payable variance processes for distribution sourced items to ensure correct prices have been invoiced. * Resolves store billing questions by interfacing with distribution and store associates. * Resolves store distribution issues by acting as a liaison with the Transportation department and store associates. * Maintains all necessary department files and records. * Maintains assigned SKU integrity maintenance in system. * Coordinates with Warehouse Operations to maintain the proper product flow through the facility, in a timely manner. * Supports and implements corporate initiatives. Job Requirements: * Bachelor's degree required. Relevant work experience preferred. A degree in marketing, accounting and financial management practices preferred. Store department managerial experience preferred * This is the senior level buying position, at least five years buying experience preferred. * Strong understanding of store operations and merchandising methodologies and practices. * Understanding of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices. * Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, experience in taking initiative and making appropriate decisions. * Planning and organizing skills. * Written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside the company. * Strategy development skills * Relationship management skills * Familiarity with Category Business Planning. * Computer aptitude with the ability to use spreadsheet and word-processing software Physical Environment: * Most work is performed in a temperature controlled environment. * Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal. * Incumbent may use calculators, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday. * Position may require some travel, including occasional weekend travel.
