Job Description:
Company located in Englewood, CO has an immediate need for a hands-on technical Security Engineer for a contract position. Candidate will work in the Enterprise Cyber Security Operations division. Candidate will work with the day-to-day coordination and collaboration with a wide array of IT groups, Information Security teams, business units, and client delivery teams, assist with incident response and investigation activities and participate in the Agile process to incrementally drive improvement of core security controls. Candidate will monitor, manage and tune core security controls, develop and deliver required metrics and reports and develop process and procedure documentation for core security controls. This is "not" an auditor type role.

Required Skills:

  1. HIPS (Host Intrusion Prevention System) configuration experience

  • McAfee products preferred.

  1. Firewall management experience.
  2. SIEM experience, logging, management, etc

  • Splunk, LogRhythm, QRadar, or other.

  1. Network Access Control (NAC) - ForeScout CounterAct preferred.
  2. DLP - ForcePoint (WebSense) preferred.
  3. Proxy
