Seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join a financial organization. The Security Engineer will be joining an established local team responsible for engineering and platform support for network and security.
The Security Engineer will be responsible for the on-premise environment as the company transitions more to the cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience working with Azure and/or Office 365. Excellent communication skills are required.

Provide leadership and guidance where appropriate on all aspects of security infrastructure including Malware, IDS, forensics, DLP, SIEM, ATP, vulnerability management, firewalls, and NAC.
Manage and oversee Cloud (Azure) security in relation to IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Office 365.
Architect, maintain, and monitor the security infrastructure.
Deliver security projects on budget and within tight timeframes.
Work collaboratively with infrastructure team and networking resources to define and implement security policies/procedures.
Serve as point person with vendors, infrastructure teams, support teams, and development resources to perform necessary enhancements and upgrades.
Provide in-depth technical support (3rd level) to other members of the IT organization as it relates to the security infrastructure.

Bachelor's Degree is required
Security certifications required
5+ years of experience as a security engineer with specific hands-on experience with security tools (malware, IDS DLP, SIEM, vulnerability management) and firewalls.
Azure and/or Office 365 experience
Works well in a team environment with experience working closely with networking and legal/compliance personnel
Proficient troubleshooting-skills particularly under pressure
Demonstrates good judgment in working with security infrastructure to ensure appropriate risk cost/benefit tradeoffs
Capable of providing project leadership and working on multiple security projects with limited supervision and with an orientation toward details.
Specific experience with DLP/SIEM and data classification projects.
Ability to respond effectively to security incidents and communicate effectively particularly with non-technical legal/compliance officers
Demonstrates initiative and persistence is self-motivated

Patients are given one-size-fits-all treatments that lead to poor outcomes. </p><p>CancerIQ is building intelligent analytical technologies aimed to optimize cancer risk prediction, prevention, and treatment. We do this by providing care providers with workflow tools built upon informed decision engines and data-driven classification models. Our mission strives to engage and educate patients, and guide them through the complex, convoluted, and intimidating journey of cancer prevention. </p><p><strong>How do you fit in?</strong> </p><p>We use a mixture of technologies, and focus on those that help us get jobs done most efficiently. We leverage the latest platform technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker to enable developers to deliver software written in any language. We currently run microservices written in Ruby, Rust, Elixir, Javascript, and C++. Adhering to strong modularity fundamentals requires solid architectures and tooling. You will be working to support and redefine the continuous delivery infrastructure of the CancerIQ platform, while developing solutions that can incorporate microservices, linux containers, cloud-native and on-premise environments. </p><p>Security is of utmost importance, as sensitive health information must be collected, transferred, and processed in the CancerIQ system. You will help to support and build out security monitoring and protection systems across the infrastructure, as well as addressing needs in industry compliance policies such as HIPAA, HITECH, and SOC 2, among others. </p><p>Education and growth is our core tenet.
