As a Security Associate Manager, you will evaluate customer applications and products security and advise them how to develop secure solutions. These could include operating systems, mobile frameworks, embedded devices, and cloud-based solutions.

Successful Security Associate Manager can apply their security expertise to multiple domains, have experience leading teams, and possess an unending curiosity about technology. Our ideal candidate will be able to influence clients so they can achieve the right balance between their business needs and security requirements.

Essential Functions

  • Research and identify customer security vulnerabilities ensuring the highest service quality to the client

  • Create and elaborate on security analysis reports and other relevant customer-facing documentation

  • Engage in technical problem solving across multiple technologies, helping ensure customers develop secure applications and hardware.

Join us! </p> <p>We are looking for a junior-level Security Compliance Administrator to assist in and grow with the administration and management of Ovia’s information security compliance program. In this role, you will prepare, maintain, and coordinate documentation for Ovia’s HITRUST and SOC2 security certifications, respond to security questionnaires from Ovia’s customers, and act as a key subject matter expert on security compliance issues. As a valued member of the Ovia Operations team, you will work with Legal, Engineering, and management as we continue to build Ovia. </p> <p>The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a security or risk compliance role in a larger organization. We look forward to welcoming your dedication, humor and humility to our team. </p> <p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Maintain a program to ensure Ovia’s compliance with applicable security controls, including HITRUST, SOC2 and HIPAA</li> <li>Create a range of security-related documents and spreadsheets</li> <li>Create and manage a document and evidence repository in support of security compliance</li> <li>Coordinate Ovia’s annual and biannual HITRUST and SOC2 certification processes</li> <li>Accurately and successfully complete security and privacy assessments in support of Ovia’s sales efforts</li> <li>Assist with HIPAA Security Rule risk assessments and compliance reviews</li> <li>Coordinate and support customer security audits</li> <li>Work closely with Engineering and Legal teams to enhance privacy and security related business processes, messaging, training and internal policies</li> <li>Act as an advocate for Ovia in customer interactions on security issues</li> <li>Monitor trends and new developments in security compliance and standards and act as an information resource for Ovia</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul> <li>1-3 years of specific information security, audit, or compliance experience (or evidence of ability, interest and willingness quickly to learn this field)</li> <li>Ability and willingness to create and manage a wide range of security and compliance-related documentation</li> <li>Understanding of and experience working with security assurance and trust frameworks (in particular HITRUST and SOC 2)</li> <li>Understanding of security and IT concepts and terminology relevant to a cloud-hosted solution</li> <li>Ability to learn and understand Ovia’s security controls and to maintain a security knowledge base that can be used for multiple projects </li> <li>Ability to understand and contextualize complex technical concepts into terms readily understandable by a non-technical audience</li> <li>Track record of developing and maintaining high quality internal policy and procedure documents</li> <li>Proven ability to manage projects and deliverables to completion</li> <li>Experience interacting with external auditors and explaining technical concepts</li> <li>Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams</li> <li>Superior organizational skills and a mindset that processes can always be improved</li> <li>Excellent attention to detail and writing skills</li> <li>Thrives in fast paced environments, embracing and leading through change and ambiguity</li> <li>Flexible and creative mindset with the ability to overcome obstacles with a positive outlook</li> <li>High autonomy, and superior time and project management skills, with the ability to manage projects with flexibility and agility</li> </ul><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p><p>We are a lively, creative team that works hard and laughs a lot.
