As a Security Consultant, you will be a key advisor for IBM's clients, analyzing business requirements to design and implement the best security solutions for their needs. You will apply your technical skills to find the balance between enabling and securing the client's organization with the cognitive solutions that are making IBM the fastest growing enterprise security business in the world.
Your Role and Responsibilities
Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence (CTI) Analyst provides the subject matter expertise to collect data and information from various sources to identify, monitor, measure and counter cyber threats. The CTI analyst will support technical reviews and preparation of CTI deliverables.
S/He provides CTI insights and support to host country's beneficiary entities. S/he can contribute to educating junior resources or individuals from developing nations to understand how to apply CTI to build cyber resilience. They will contribute to the capacity building activities to improve CTI capabilities of other organizations.
The following are examples, but not limited to, of the functions required by the CTI Analyst:
● Conducts all source / OSINT analysis to produce CTI reports to educate both technical and non-technical staff on cyber threats and mitigations.
● Create and brief audiences of varying seniority and cultures to convey CTI data
● Train others on the use of CTI and how to use CTI to mitigate cyber threats
● Utilizes CTI platforms such as MISP and Anomali
● Experience configuring and administering CTI platforms
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
○ At least 6 years of progressive experience in the cybersecurity field.
○ Demonstrated experience in various areas of cybersecurity threat intelligence,
○ Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering capacity building activities;
○ Demonstrated experience in writing, presenting, and producing deliverables
○ Expert knowledge of current cybersecurity tools and systems, critical infrastructure security, cyber incidents response, cybersecurity strategic planning, legal and regulatory requirements;
○ Demonstrated skills on program management and leadership skills, including the ability to develop solutions on critical infrastructure cybersecurity, mentor counterpart staff and collaborate effectively with stakeholders and beneficiaries;
○ Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
○ Ability to produce detailed reports, documentation and presentations.
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
Experience with cybersecurity capacity building
Strong knowledge of CTI platforms such as Anomali and MISP
CISSP preferred, but not required.
