Position Overview

Monitor and operate security systems. Respond to alarm events and emergency situations in a timely, effective and professional manner. Answer phone calls and direct security related inquiries as appropriate. Prepare and maintain accurate records and logs of console activities. Report required information on events to Corporate Security Management in accordance with Corporate Security guidelines/standards. Maintain thorough knowledge of security devices and equipment. Execute all emergency procedures, particularly those relating to robbery, extortion, fire, bomb threats and the safety of customers and employees. Coordinate activities of contract guards. Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications. Perform other duties as assigned including working with Corporate Security Manager in the development and implementation of departmental goals.

  • Perform other duties as assigned including working with Corporate Security Manager in the development and implementation of departmental goals.

  • Continually strive to provide excellent customer service to our corporate partners and customers.

Requirements Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

  • High School Diploma and law enforcement, military or security-related experience.

  • 2-5 years' experience in the military, law enforcement or industrial security industry preferred.

  • Must be reliable, mature, and alert

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate environment

  • Ability to remain calm and advise others in crisis situations

  • Ability to react to a crisis situation in accordance with Corporate Security guidelines without direct supervision

  • Ability to rapidly learn and operate computer-based Alarm Access control and surveillance system

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Knowledge of security procedures

  • Effective interpersonal skills

  • Intermediate computer skills

Work Schedule

Days: Sunday Saturday

Time: 2nd shift 3pm 11pm; 3rd shift 11pm 7am
