Isle Casino Hotel Black Hawk is an over 40,000 square foot, one level gaming complex located in Black Hawk, CO. Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARYEnsure the safety and security of guests and team members and the protection of property assets.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in transporting money, gaming chips and other items as necessary.

  • Respond to patron and team member incidents.

  • Check guest ID's to ensure proper age for casino access.

  • Evaluate guest's behavior for possible signs of intoxication.

  • Monitoring ingress and egress of the casino.

  • Patrol internal and external premises on foot or by company vehicle.

  • Check for safety hazards in all public and back-of-house areas.

  • Other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel preferred. Ability to learn other Security specific programs.

  • Strong attention to detail when examining guest identification and behavior.

  • Must have a valid state issued ID.

  • High School Degree or GED equivalent preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time.

  • Frequent pushing, pulling, bending and walking.

  • Intermittent sitting at a desk or company vehicle.

  • Work area is both indoors and outdoors and subject to variable temperatures.

  • May be subject to smoking environment, moderate noise and bright lights.

Essential Job Responsibilities and Duties * Maintain a high quality of guest service according to Jacobs Entertainment, Inc. Mission Statement and F.A.S.T. Track Values Statement. * Assists Security Supervisor with planning, organizing and coordinating all security policies to make sure they are current and implemented on a regular basis. * Identifies security problems and develops solutions in coordination with management. * Trains all security personnel under their charge, ensuring they enforce Lodge Security Policy including Colorado law and Division of Gaming Regulations. * Ensures security for all classified information held on company premises. * Performs all duties normally accomplished by security line officers. * Other related duties including but not limited to complying with the following; Colorado Limited Gaming Act, Colorado Gaming Rules and Regulations, Colorado Internal Control Minimum Procedures, Colorado Liquor and Beer Codes, Federal requirements for Anti-Money Laundering, Company Policies, and IRS reporting. * Supervises shift activities in the absence of the supervisor. * Thorough knowledge of applicable Company and departmental policies and procedures as well as the willingness to learn and follow any policy or procedure that may be introduced in the future. * Adhere to all appearance and uniform standards. * Maintain an open line of communication with Management. * Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during all interactions with guests, fellow employees, and vendors. * Ability to accept performance feedback in a professional manner. * Regular attendance to all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. * Arriving on-time for all scheduled shifts is considered an essential function of the job. * Other duties as assigned.
