Duties

Summary

You will serve as a Security Assistant in the Operations Division, Security Department of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Responsibilities

You will serve as a Security Assistant, security coordinator and security point of contact embedded within the 4.8 competency.
You will be responsible for controlling access to the engineering campus buildings at NAWCAD Lakehurst, NJ.
You will assist the Security Manager with the physical security and access control and intrusion detection security program.
You will make/issue electronic badges, adding/deleting access to electronically controlled doors.
You will be responsible for the physical protecton of sensitive information or other material to ensure it is not compromised, sabotaged or subjected to malicious mischief or other acts of willful interference at government facilities.
You will assist with the administration of Anti-Terrorism Force Protection, operations security and physical security programs and training.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the grade level (GS-6/7) or pay band (DG-04) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) assisting in conducting security inspections and spot checks; 2) experience in executing access control by making/issuing electronic badges, adding/deleting access to electronically controlled doors; 3) protection of sensitive information or other material.
