You will spend your days:

Serving as a central point of contact information security incidents.
Determining the cause of an event or incident andefficiently finding the solution
Assess ongoing threats
Coordinate with external parties such as vendors, partner agencies, law enforcement and internal stakeholders.

What you must have:

CISSP certification
Deep understanding ofnetworking concepts.
Strong familiarity with protocols and services (FTP, HTTP, SSH, SMB, LDAP, etc.).
Strong familiarity with security technologies including Intrusion Detection & Prevention Systems, firewalls & log analysis, SIEM, network behavior analysis tools, antivirus, and network packet analyzers.
Experienced with command-line interfaces or scripting languages (Perl, Bash, Python)
Strong knowledge of advanced attack capabilities, characteristics and defining signatures for detecting malicious code.

As an Associate Validation Analyst II with PPD's GMP Laboratory-Information Technology (IT) team, you will: * Provide business/system support of software systems and/or laboratory instrumentation. * Work with staff of various departments and the client to initiate and complete Performance Qualification (PQ) validation activities. * Facilitate the validation process as well as implementation of system upgrades, including duties of guiding, testing, supporting the introduction, and ongoing support of software systems. * Participate as a member of the Project teams where needed and helps provide direction on future enhancements to the system. Responsibilities may include: * Serve as Validation Support for new releases and modifications to applications throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. * Prepare Validation Plans, Test Cases and Validation Summary Reports and executes Test Cases. * Review and approves all change controls associated with the validated systems per SOP. * Review PQ and change control documentation with the IT Project Manager per SOP. * Ensure test scripts challenge the functional requirements and adequately demonstrate that the application meets the expectations of the business customer. * Update test scripts where required based on requirement changes or upgrades in application functionality. * Execute test scripts accurately to produce evidence that the computer system consistently performs its intended functions accurately and reliably proving the software functions correctly. * Create, update, and manage data within the testing environment, sufficient to accurately test software functionality. * Provide ongoing business support to users during the implementation and continued use of validated platforms, ensuring that appropriate training, support and maintenance is provided. #LI-MM1 Minimum Required Education and Experience: * Requires 4-yr degree in computer, biological or life sciences or related area, or equivalent combination of education, training and professional experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities * Fundamental training, knowledge and experience with systems or software validation processes.
