About the Role:

Aquila is seeking a Contract Program Security Officer (CPSO)to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The Security Analyst will oversee access control and classified materials. Applies security policies to meet security objectives of the system. Ensures all security operations and maintenance activities are documented. Assess the effectiveness of security controls.

There are a few requirements for the position:

• Must be a U.S Citizen (Green Cards / Visas do not qualify)
• Willingness to undergo a comprehensive background investigation and maintain a personal security clearance. (Aquila would sponsor you for the security clearance.)
• Must be within commutable distance of Lexington, Massachusetts.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees facility access control, any construction and renovation, drafting and implementation of construction security plans. 
• Manages creation, movement and destruction of classified material and digital media.
• Facilitates indoctrinations and debriefings, personnel file maintenance, manages reporting requirements, incoming and outgoing external visits.
• Security Education, Training and Awareness: Conducts annual training, facility access training, Operations Security (OPSEC) awareness.
• Investigates and documents security incidents, develops and manages corrective actions.
• Ensures compliance with operational security and emergency action plans.

Must Have:

Currently holds a Top Secret/SCI clearance

• 3 years of compliance with operational security and emergency action plans.
• 3 years Experience as a Security Officer or Control Officer
• 3 years Facilitates indoctrinations and debriefings, personnel file maintenance
• 3 years Familiarity with security management software, such as SIMS and government databases such as DISS
• 3 years Investigates and documents security incidents, develops and manages corrective actions.
• 3 years NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 experience
• 3 years Oversee facility access control and assist with drafting construction security plan.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), Contractor Special Security Officer (CSSO), Top Secret Control Officer (TSCO), or Program Security Officer (PSO).
• The ability to read, understand and apply government regulation, policies and procedure (DoD SAP/SCI Community and Intelligence Community directives and manuals, NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117, applicable ICDs, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 3 years of work experience.
• Familiarity with security management software, such as SIMS and government databases such as DISS (Defense Information Security System). Knowledge of business software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Office, etc.

Clearance:  Active a Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility. Active NSA SCI access OR previous NSA SCI access that was active within the previous 18 months (would have been employed at NSA or Cyber Command or NSA affiliated subcontractor). Full scope NSA polygraph needs to have been adjudicated within the previous 4 years.  Consent to undergoing a government polygraph examination.
