Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Agent to join our team. A successful candidate will go the extra mile and be an asset to the Security team.
The person having this position must possess effective communication skills, have the ability to resolve conflict, great interpersonal skills, a keen sense of awareness, and have a thorough understanding of LINE policies, procedures and expectations.
Because of the fluctuating demands of the company's operation, it may be necessary that each employee perform a multitude of different functions; therefore, as an essential part of your position, you will be expected to help others when the occasion arises, just as other employees are expected to help you. Accordingly, you may be expected to perform other tasks as needed or as directed.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Must be courteous and gracious, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times
To safeguard the hotel, guest and associate's property from vandalism, theft, and any kind of crime
To monitor and to control the movement of all associates, visitors, and contractors leaving or entering the hotel through the staff entrance
To handle all tasks with diplomacy, tact, appropriate discretion and efficiency
To ensure that unauthorized personnel do not gain access to the hotel floors and back of the house areas
To ensure to check all current events, activities, and functions at the time of duty
To have a thorough understanding of Fire, Life, Safety training on emergency response
To uphold company standards and rules in efforts to keep the property safe
Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible
Assist customers in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.
Core Competencies
High School diploma or general education degree (GED)
Two (2) years related experience in the hospitality industry preferred

Concierge-level customer service experience
Access control systems, CCTV, and alarm monitoring experience
Able to interact effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
Knowledge, Requirements and Skills
Must have active BSIS guard Card, or able to obtain by date of hire
Minimum two (2) years of security or armed security experience; hotel experience preferred
Enjoy working in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment
Outgoing and people-orientated personality
Effective interpersonal skills and a great team player
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
Familiar with State and local safety regulations (i.e. OSHA), CPR/First Aid certified
