We are looking for Security Specialist who have worked with or have a strong interest in agile software development practices and delivering deployable software in short sprints.
What you'll get to do:
Serve as a security specialist who will be responsible for:
Providing security support for passing; verifying; and receiving clearances
Reviewing Personnel Security Questionnaires
Verifying information submitted on applications
Contacting subjects via approved methods to complete information on background investigation forms
Confirming security eligibility
Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, :
3 year check for felony convictions
1 year check for illegal drug use
1 year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud
Professional Experience: at least five (5) year related experience; particularly working on government contracts
College degree (B.S.) in personnel or industrial security or related field of study
You are good at:
Facilitating and tracking the security clearance process for DHS clearances
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic; self-starter
Bonus would be having:
Experience with personnel/industrial security
Person with cyber-security, information systems and network analysis, assessment and security or (CompTIASecurity+ or CySA+) certifications
