Uniti Fiber Holdings Inc. ("Uniti") is searching for a Critical Facilities Security Administrator. The Security Administrator will manage the internal and external badging process for all company centric and vendor supplied access cards, fobs, and hard keys. They will be responsible for managing our access control database and interacting with employees to ensure proper credentials are renewed and maintained. They will also act as an arm of the Human Resources department, as they will be required to turn on and off all access methods when employees are hired or terminated.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Work product expectations include the following:
Demonstrate prompt and regular attendance
Follow procedures for issuance of security credentials
Manage and maintain the internal access controls database
Develop and maintain an access list to organize access procedures for all owned, leased, and colocated sites
Interact with vendors to activate/renew credentials
Interact with internal employees for notifications and delivery of credentials
Follow company defined procedures for PO issuance and work approval
Research, evaluate,and make recommendations concerning new third-party products or industry trends which are related to security administration

Bachelor's degree preferred
Superior organization skills
Database management experience
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.)

Must be reachable at all times and able to work any shift, weekends, or overtime as required
The Security Administrator should have a basic knowledge of the telecommunications industry and an understanding of the critical nature of maintaining the integrity of facility security. The right individual should also be teachable/trainable, and should possess the ability to work well both independently and in a team environment.
