Your Role and Responsibilities
The IBM US Government Security Administrator position is required to support safeguarding of US DoD facilities within IBM's Reston/Chantilly locations and help maintain an over-all compliant US government security program. This position supports both physical and personnel security for multiple contracts and customers.
Processes new and existing employee security clearances
Tracks security clearance investigations and performs administrative support functions in DISS, NBIS, and E-APP government systems.
Provides security briefings, debriefings, and awareness training for on-site and off-site personnel.
Processes incoming/ outgoing visit requests and certifications
Foreign Travel Reporting
Review, processes, and screens security SF86 forms
Ensures document control security by safeguarding classified documents in accordance with the NISPOM and through coordination with government agencies and the FSO.
Assists in preparation for facility reviews and inspections.
Supports the company's completion and retention of personnel security clearance records.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
Must possess at minimum a DOD secret clearance
Strong knowledge of DISS, NBIS and e-QIP government programs, SF86, DD 254 process
Knowledge of CUI requirements, policies, and regulations
Knowledge of NISPOM, SEAD requirements
Detail oriented with strong Administrative Skills and proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
