Network Security Experience The Cybersecurity Software product company seeks an experienced Security Account Manager to sell NDR, DDOS, and other Network Security products to SLED Customers in the assigned territory. We want someone who has recently called on the State IT Agencies in the assigned States. This security account manager will sell all company security software products. Candidates need to have a lot of Field Sales Experience, understand sales cycles, and have experience selling to SLED(State, Local, and Education) Customers. They are looking for an Account Manager with extensive contacts in the SLED communities. Our focus is on large state IT agencies, followed by large city/county organizations, large universities, and K-12 school districts. This Security Account Manager will join the US SLED Sales Team. SLED Sales focuses on the State, Local, and Education Sectors. This includes selling products or services to government agencies, municipalities, schools, universities, and other public institutions. The SLED Account Manager is responsible for achieving the sales quota in the assigned territory through direct sales to customers. This role controls the accounts directly, even if the business is booked through channels. Responsibilities: • Follows a selling process • Responsible for booking business per the company bookings policies and revenue recognition policy • Understand the customer’s business and how our products impact their business • Develop solid relationships and coaches in the accounts • Develops a pipeline of 4X quota and is constantly prospecting in new or existing accounts • Develop strong working relationships with channel partners• Consistently calls at multiple levels, high and wide • Works collaboratively with sales engineers to ensure ongoing technical support for accounts. • Follows company strategy and direction • Substantial travel within the region and occasionally beyond is required • Candidate will need to be located on the East Coast or EST to Dallas, Texas area Florida, Georgia, NC, VA, NY, NJ, and MA Experience: • 5 years of sales experience in network security or cybersecurity • 5 years experience selling to IT / Data Centers / CISO’s • 5 years experience in the SLED market segment • A quantifiable track record of success demonstrated by territory/professional growth • A solid, articulate understanding of our technology, market, and client profile • Track record of exceptional and consistent quota achievement • Proven success, established customers and contacts, and solid territory knowledge • You will need the skill to work with large, complex accounts independently • Ability to source, pursue and close new business100% remote position with 50% travel to customers. 100% OTE -(On Target Earnings) plus RSU -(Stock)
